43rd FMIPA UNILA JUDICIUM PERIOD V TA 2025/2026

On April 22 2026, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at the University of Lampung held a judicial activity as part of the final academic stage for students who had completed all their study obligations. In this activity, 54 students were officially declared to have graduated and had the right to hold academic degrees according to the level of education they had taken, both in Bachelor's and Master's programs.

The implementation of this judiciary took place solemnly and meaningfully, and was attended by the Dean, faculty leadership, and the FMIPA Senate of Lampung University. The presence of the faculty leaders and senate is not only a form of academic legitimacy, but also a form of moral support and appreciation to students for the dedication and hard work they have shown during their education.

On this occasion, FMIPA Lampung University also gave awards to outstanding students who succeeded in achieving the title of best graduate. The best graduates ranked first at the Master's and Bachelor's levels managed to record proud achievements by winning the title of best graduate at university level. Apart from that, at the faculty level the best graduates were also determined to be ranked first, second and third as a form of appreciation for the academic excellence and consistency of achievements that have been achieved during the study period.

As a form of appreciation, the Dean and the leadership and Senate of the FMIPA University of Lampung directly gave appreciation to the best graduates. It is hoped that this appreciation will be a motivation for all students to continue to improve their quality, maintain their integrity, and contribute positively to society.

Behind this atmosphere of pride, this judicial activity was also marked by a nuance of sadness. Also present were two families of deceased FMIPA students who had died as a result of an accident caused by heavy water currents during the rain. The presence of the deceased's family was an emotional moment that touched all those present, considering that the deceased was part of the academic community who had also struggled in pursuing education.

On this occasion, the Dean of FMIPA, Lampung University along with the leadership and faculty senate expressed their deep condolences for the passing of the deceased student. Expressions of condolence were conveyed as a form of empathy and respect for the dedication of the deceased during his time as part of FMIPA. Apart from that, the faculty also gave symbolic appreciation and appreciation to the family of the deceased as a form of respect for the struggles and academic achievements that have been achieved.

This judicial activity is not only a moment of inauguration of graduation, but also a reflection of an academic journey that is full of dynamics, both joys and sorrows. FMIPA Lampung University hopes that all graduates will be able to implement the knowledge they have acquired, maintain the good name of their alma mater, and be able to make a real contribution to national development, especially in the fields of science and technology.
