Inauguration of the 2026 Chemistry Student Association (Himaki) Management: Moving Together, Making Meaningful Moves

The Department of Chemistry, FMIPA, Universitas Lampung once again demonstrated its support for student organization development through the Inauguration of the 2026 Executive Board of the Chemistry Student Association (Himaki), held on Saturday, May 2, 2026. This event carried the slogan “Moving Together, Creating Meaningful Impact” as a new spirit in beginning a leadership period filled with responsibility and dedication.

The inauguration of the 2026 Himaki executive board marked the first step in carrying out organizational responsibilities while strengthening the role of students in supporting an active and collaborative academic environment within the Department of Chemistry, FMIPA, Universitas Lampung. A total of 80 board members were officially inaugurated to carry out their responsibilities for the upcoming term.

The event was attended by the Head of the Department of Chemistry, FMIPA, Universitas Lampung, Prof. Dr. Mita Rilyanti, S.Si., M.Si., along with the Himaki academic advisor, Mrs. Hapin Afriyani, M.Si. Their presence reflected the department’s support for a student organization that is active, progressive, and able to contribute positively to students.

The inauguration ceremony was conducted solemnly and filled with a strong spirit of togetherness. Beyond being a ceremonial event, the inauguration also served as a momentum to strengthen solidarity among the board members and foster commitment in implementing innovative, adaptive, and beneficial work programs for Chemistry students.

Through the 2026 Himaki leadership, the Department of Chemistry, FMIPA, Universitas Lampung hopes that student organizations will continue to serve as platforms for developing students’ potential, both academically and non-academically. With the spirit of “Moving Together, Creating Meaningful Impact”, Himaki is expected to make positive contributions and support the development of active, outstanding, and competitive Chemistry students.
