Unila Biology Student Wins 3rd Place in the 2026 International Karate Open

Another encouraging news comes from students of the Undergraduate Biology Study Program, Department of Biology, FMIPA, University of Lampung. Biology student, Adila Rava Ayu, succeeded in making an achievement at the international level by winning 3rd place in the Women's Kumite Class -55 Kg at the International Karate Open event 2026.

This prestigious championship is organized by Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia in collaboration with The Executive Board of the Indonesian Karate-Do Sports Federation, and supported by National Achievement Center. The activity took place on 5–7 June 2026 atGOR Ciracas Stadium, with the match Adila participated in on 6 June 2026.

Adila's achievements are proof that Biology students not only excel in academics, but are also able to excel in sports at the international level. This success is of course the result of hard work, discipline and high fighting spirit in training and competition.

This achievement is also inseparable from the support and guidance of Mr Allwine, M.Kom., who has been assisting and providing motivation in developing student achievements.

The extended family of the Biology Department, FMIPA, University of Lampung express their appreciation and congratulations to Adila Rava Ayu for the achievements he has achieved. Hopefully this success can be an inspiration for other students to continue to develop their potential, both in the academic and non-academic fields, as well as bringing a good name to the Department of Biology, FMIPA, and the University of Lampung at the national and international level.
