ONMIPA 2026 Development in Chemistry, FMIPA Unila, Develops Superior and Competitive Students
Unila FMIPA Chemistry Department is holding activities Development of the National Olympiad in Mathematics and Natural Sciences for Universities Higher Education (ONMIPA-PT) in 2026 in the field of Chemistry as one of the annual agendas routine which is part of the strategy for developing academic quality and increasing student competitiveness at the national level.
This coaching activity is carried out intensively from March to April 2026 at the Student Excellent Center, Chemistry Building FMIPA Unila, with a total of 14 meetings with 13 face-to-face meetings and 1 online meeting. This activity was attended by 14 students, who consisting of 8 students from the class of 2024 and 6 students from the class of 2023.
As part of the selection stage, it has been implemented university level selection by the rector on Monday (11/4/2026). Based on the results of the selection, the five best students were selected represent Unila to advance in the scheduled regional level selection on 5–6 May 2026.
Coaching is carried out by a team of lecturers who are experts in
each field (peer group), namely Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Chemistry
Physical, Inorganic Chemistry, and Biochemistry. Mentoring is carried out in a directed manner
through strengthening fundamental material, discussing Olympic questions, as well as
effective and efficient resolution strategies.

- Organic Chemistry: Dr. Syaiful Bahri, M.Sc. and Hapin Afriyani, M.Sc.
- Physical Chemistry: Prof. Dr. Kamisah Delilawati P., M.Sc. and Prof. Dr. Ilim, M.S.
- Inorganic Chemistry: Prof. Dr. Mita Rilyanti, M.Sc. and Dr. Yuli Ambarwati, M.Si.
- Biochemistry: Dr. Nurhasanah, M.Sc. and Dr. Widyastuti, M.Si.
The ONMIPA program is designed to shape student abilities in critical, analytical and systematic thinking in solving advanced chemistry problems, developing problem solving abilities high level, especially in dealing with Olympic questions complex and multidisciplinary, as well as preparing students as representatives institutions in national level scientific competitions. Through activities The Department of Chemistry, FMIPA, University of Lampung hopes to continue this development produce students who are superior, competitive, have integrity, and are capable contribute to the development of science and technology at the level national and global.
