Unila Biology Student Wins 1st and 2nd Place in Peksimila Short Story Writing Competition 2025

Another proud achievement was made by students of the Undergraduate Biology Study Program, Biology Department, FMIPA, University of Lampung. Two Biology students managed to achieve brilliant achievements in the branch Short Story Writing in the event Lampung University Student Arts Week 2025.

At the competition held on 17 November 2025 at Aula Building K FKIP Unila, Hanifah Lulu Amalia managed to win 1st place, while Aulia Rahma Rizkiya succeeded in achieving 2nd Place in the Short Story Writing competition.

This success shows that Biology students not only have good abilities in the fields of science and academics, but are also able to develop creativity, imagination and literacy skills through literary works. This achievement is proof that Biology Department students have diverse potential and are able to compete superiorly in various fields.

The Peksimila event is a forum for Lampung University students to channel their talents, interests and creativity in the field of art. Through this competition, students are encouraged to continue to work, innovate and develop abilities that can support the formation of holistic character and competence.

The Head of the Biology Department, FMIPA, University of Lampung expressed his high appreciation for the achievements achieved by Hanifah Lulu Amalia and Aulia Rahma Rizkiya. It is hoped that this achievement can be a motivation for other students to continue to develop their potential, both in the academic and non-academic fields.
